Our 2025 Annual FAB Tea was another successful gathering of over 50 FAB members, veterans and newcomers alike, and their guests at the Berkeley Yacht Club on October 16th. Even the blustery autumn weather cooperated to provide a sunny and warm setting for our annual event. View photos from the Tea.
The Annual FAB Tea
Our marquee member event is the Annual FAB Tea. The Tea is a lighthearted, fun gathering with bountiful buffet, opportunities to see old friends and make new ones, lots of conversation and laughter, and, yes, tea. The event began with a group of 28 women when FAB was founded in 2003, then doubled in number the following year, and has continued to grow ever since. FAB Chronicles
The Fall 2025 edition of the FAB Chronicles has been emailed to all members and is available on the Website. Artificial Intelligence is the theme for this issue. FAB members write about their experiences using AI as an image generator, as an English language study guide for immigrant lawyers, as a tool for writers, and as a helpmate in planning travel adventures. Also included is a how-to guide for an AI chatbot.

Interest Groups
From its earliest days, FAB members have formed special interest groups to meet other FAB members, network, engage in a wide range of enriching and fun activities, and make new friends in the process. We write memoirs and short stories, discuss books and movies, play bridge and Mah Jongg, explore San Francisco, knit, and more.
Become a member of FAB and then join one of our established interest groups, or start a new group!

New Members Welcomed at Annual Luncheon
In February 2025, longtime FAB member Emily Brenner once again kindly opened her lovely home for our annual New Members Luncheon, creating a warm and welcoming gathering for members who joined FAB in 2024. What a fascinating group of remarkable women; the conversations were so engaging that we could have talked for hours!
