Hot Off the Press: Fall 2026 FAB Chronicles!
The theme for our Fall issue of FAB Chronicles is “getting your financial house in order before the final curtain" (with thanks to Shakespeare, Frank Sinatra, and the enduring "life as a stage" metaphor). Consider the helpful information and resources to help prepare for the reality of mortality; learn about the worldwide travels of one of our newer members from her fascinating Profile; and, reflect on the rich and happy life of a longtime member in her moving Tribute.

Save the Date for our 2026 Annual FAB Tea Party!
This year, our marquee member event will take place on Thursday, November 5, from 2-4pm. The Tea is a lighthearted, fun gathering with bountiful buffet, opportunities to see old friends and make new ones, lots of conversation and laughter, and, yes, tea. The event began with a group of 28 women when FAB was founded in 2003, then doubled in number the following year, and has continued to grow ever since. Invitations are forthcoming; meanwhile, FAB members can view the beautiful Tea invitations and photos from prior years at the Annual FAB Tea page on the FAB Member Portal.
Participate in Interest Groups and Volunteer Opportunities
From its earliest days, FAB members have formed special interest groups to meet other FAB members, network, engage in a wide range of enriching and fun activities, and make new friends in the process. We write memoirs; discuss books, movies, and politics; play bridge, mahjongg and Rummikub; gather for lunch at local eateries; explore San Francisco; knit; and more. Become a member of FAB and then join one of our established interest groups, or start a new group! Once you become a member you can find more information on the Interest Groups page in the Member Portal.
Another great way to participate is getting involved in FAB's behind-the-scene activities. Opportunities include helping with our Annual Tea Party, supporting this website, copyediting FAB Chronicles, and more.
